Helpful
hints:
Because
there is no right or wrong side to this shawl it is helpful to put a safely pin
the shawl when you are ready to start either row 2 or 4. This will indicate whether it is an increase
row or a knit row.
To join new
balls of yarn, over lap approximately 8 – 10 inches of the old and new
balls. Knit several stitches with both
balls to secure the join. Weave in any
loose ends.
