These yarn amounts are based on average requirements and are therefore approximate. Estelle cannot accept responsibility for the finished garment if any yarn other than the recommended yarn is used.
NOTES
Instructions are given for 32 in or 81 cm, larger sizes in square brackets.
Where only one figure is given this applies to all sizes.
We suggest you underline all the figures for the size you require before knitting.
Equivalent to a basic tension of 22 sts and 30 rows to 4 in or 10cm measured over stst on size 4mm needles or the size of needles to give correct tension.
It is
important to check your tension before starting the garment, therefore knit a
tension square. If there are less sts
or rows to 4 in or 10 cm than stated, change to thinner needles. If there are more sts or rows to 4 in or 10
cm than stated, change to thicker needles.

2nd Row: P2, * K2, P2, rep from * to end.
1st and 2nd rows form rib.
Cont in rib until work measures 12¾ in or 32.5 cm from beg, ending with a wrong side row.
Shape Armholes

NECKBAND
With a backstitch join right shoulder seam.
Using 3¾ mm needles and with right side facing rejoin yarn and pick up and K26[26 : 28 : 28 : 30 : 30] sts evenly from left side of front neck, K14[16 : 16 : 18 : 18 : 20] sts from center
