We suggest you underline all the figures for the size you require before knitting.
Equivalent to a basic tension of 22 sts and 30 rows to 4 in or 10cm measured over stst on size 4mm needles or the size of needles to give correct tension.
It is
important to check your tension before starting the garment, therefore knit a
tension square. If there are less sts
or rows to 4 in or 10 cm than stated, change to thinner needles. If there are more sts or rows to 4 in or 10
cm than stated, change to thicker needles.

next 3 sts onto cable needle and place at front/back of work, K next 3 sts from
left hand needle, then K3 sts from cable needle.
Using 3.25 mm needles cast on 86[92 : 98 : 104] sts and work in patt as follows:

Using 3.25 mm
needles and with RS facing rejoin yarn and pick up and K32[35 : 35 : 36] sts
evenly from left side of front neck (approx 4 sts from every 5 rows along
straight edge and 1 st from every st/row along shaped edge). Work across sts from front neck st holder as
follows: K6[7 : 7 : 8], K2tog, K4,
skpo, K6[7 : 7 : 8]. Pick up and K32[35
: 35 : 36] sts evenly from right side of front neck and 6 sts from right side
of back neck.
Work across
sts from back neck st holder as follows:
K11[12 : 12 : 13], K2tog, K4, skpo, K11[12 : 12 : 13]. Pick up and K7 sts evenly from left side of
back neck. = 123[133 : 133 : 139] sts.
1st
Row: P1, *K1, P1, rep from * to end.
2nd

Cast off
fairly loosely in rib (WS).

Allow the 3
sts of stst at armhole edges to roll onto wrong side to form rolled edges
around armholes.
